Serap Kocacenk | About the Artist
Serap Kocacenk is a Swedish–Turkish contemporary artist working between Malmö and Istanbul. Her works are held in private and institutional collections in Sweden, Turkey, Australia, and the United States.
Kocacenk unfolds her charged, emotional universe in works that open portals between body and spirit. Her practice revolves around sensitivity, energy, and cultural identity — and here, collectors encounter her visual language at full force. Each piece is crafted with intentionality and acquired by those who resonate with its psychological depth and living presence.
In 2024, her painting A Cry for Help was selected for the cover of Dag Ekner’s book Kampen för livet. Her paintings are also placed in public healing spaces within the Swedish healthcare system, where they serve as anchors of presence and renewal.
With a growing international collector base and a practice rooted in both fine art and emotional truth, Kocacenk stands as a sovereign force in contemporary abstraction — offering rare works that carry both intimacy and power.
